Vision and Target in Internet Business

Business

Before, I felt ‘destined’ to always depend on others financially. Assuming that what is meant by ‘others’ are my parents, it is also quite sad to hear that. Oh my God, why would I constantly depend on my parents? Well, then I decided to try as hard as I can in order to live independently and no longer depend on others. That was my first vision and goals when starting an internet business.

The subconscious effect of a vision turned out incredible. From what I’ve experienced so far, that’s what made me stay focused and do not stop trying even though many trials to come. And I can say, in the world of internet businesses that need hard work and careful thought in which we live now, naturally every internet business has a vision and target respectively.

So, what is the difference between a vision and targets? For me, vision is the ultimate goal or long-term goals we want to accomplish. While the short-term target is a goal that must be taken in order to achieve long-term goals that we have. Since last year my vision has been fulfilled. In order to achieve this vision, I set some short-term targets to be met in order. For example:

– Earn money from the internet for $100/month

– Earn money from the internet for $500/month

– Earn money from the internet for $1,000/month

– Earn money from the internet for $10,000/month

Well, if the vision serves as a guard to keep us focused and not quit in the middle of the road, the target serves as a director of action and what decisions we should take. For example, in order to earn an income of $100/month, the steps I need to do is:

– Having 1 to 3 blogs that are routinely updated

– Optimizing these blogs, either from its interface design, SEO, and advertisements placement

– Using PPC as a source of income

If the target has been reached, the next strategy is based on our target next. In this case, I must get $500/month. The steps to be taken such as:

– Has 4-6 blogs that are routinely updated

– Optimizing these blogs, either from its interface design, SEO, and advertisements placement

– Using PPC and affiliate as a source of income

I think the two examples above is enough to explain the differences between vision and targets, as well as the application of each. And remember; eventhough the vision is long-term vision goal, there is nothing wrong if one day, when your vision has been fulfilled, you revise your vision with other vision that is more suitable to your situation.

My own vision now is to find the right system to increase income and reduce working time. Switching the focus from monetizing blog to digital product creation is one of the strategies to achieve my target.

What about you? Did you have a vision of the internet business? If you wish, please you can share it here.
